Cleaning your nebulizer sets

Every day, we get calls from customers asking about the best way to clean the nebulizer set they have. While some sets have specific instructions, most sets can follow the guidelines given in this useful video from the American Lung Association.

It is recommended that you wash your nebulizer after each use. This includes the mouthpiece, medicine cup and mask. If your nebulizer is dishwasher safe, you may use the dishwasher to clean your set, but alternatively, you can use warm soapy water or vinegar and then rinse thoroughly. Only air dry and never submerge your tubing in liquid. Only wipe the outside of the tubing with a cloth.
