My wife has used this for years. Only recently we replaced the compressor unit after about 10 years. The batteries last about 2-3 years before needing replaced in our experience, but the nebulizer is used daily. We tried others, like the omron travel unit, but the mesh filter kept disintegrating after a couple of weeks, and it is not replaceable, so you have to replace the whole unit. This Pari Trek S is the best. Don't waste time trying others, just buy it. My only recommendation is to offer shorter tubing as an option.
