Omron Mesh Nebulizer NE-U100

I love this machine. I have used it for at least 5 years. The only thing I have to complain about is the little area on the bottom. The little piece of plastic that keeps the batteries in tends to break after about 8 months. If they could come up with a fix for that the machine would be great

Excited to use a fast portable nebulizer. Turns out, the design is poor. You have to tilt the device to allow gravity to kick-start the process. With patience and a lot of shacking, eventually all the medication vaporizes. Meantime some of the vapour condenses to trickle down the outside of the mouth piece.

We have used these nebulizers since 2020 and have generally had positive experiences. With some timing, the mesh cap seems to become disfunctional which seems to be normal. During our most recent purchase, we opened the device some months later and started to use it. Our last device had a defect in the mesh cap and the vapor was coming out minorly from the top and out the side. When we contacted the company, we were informed that the mesh cap needed to be replaced and it's not under warranty.

Not sure if this has lost model has lost it's quality production or if we indeed got a dud. But we are disappointed that we had an issue with the vapor coming out of multiple areas since we started using the device and the company (just nebulizers) will not replace. We have not contacted Omron about the issue but are bummed that we purchased a defective nebulizer and were told it's not covered under warranty since it's the "mesh cap" which is defective. Very disappointed and don't have a functional nebulizer now.

Model NE-U22 was easier to assembling. This one feels more delicate maybe even break easier if your not careful. Otherwise hope it works a long time. The NE-U22 lasted at least 2 years, hope the same for this one.
