Sanitizing just got easier!

We are excited to announce the arrival of our newest sanitizer: The Lumin CPAP UV Sanitizer.

This small box is considered one of the fastest and the safest disinfection machines on the market today. It kills 99.9% of bacteria and germs including the SARS-CoV-2. Additionally, it was just approved by the FDA as a method of disinfecting N95 masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the FDA approved other devices, most were large, bulky and only available to hospitals. This small unit can be used in small offices and homes.

While it was intended as a disinfectant for CPAP gear, it can be used safely for personal items, such as nebulizers and really anything that can fit in the box.

WHAT IS THE CLEANING TECHNOLOGY? Lumin uses ultraviolet light to disinfect harmful bacteria, virus, mold and fungus.  At UV-C wavelengths, the DNA of biological microorganisms is damaged to the point where it can't repair itself, resulting in cell death. A white paper study of the Lumin found that it has a 99.9% kill rate for harmful bacteria, viruses, mold and fungus.

DOES THE UV-C DEGRADE PLASTICS? The UV-C cycle time is 5 minutes. UV-C can degrade some polymers over time however the short duration of UV-C exposure ensures there is no degradation within the life of the mask or accessory. Generally degradation starts to occur after 200 hours of exposure. By comparison, one year of daily use with the Lumin is equivalent to 30 hours of UV-C exposure.

ARE USERS EXPOSED TO UV-C? The Lumin was engineered with a magnetic switch that only operates when the chamber drawer is fully closed. Opening the drawer will automatically power off the device.

WHAT DOES IT DISINFECT? While it was intended to disinfect CPAP masks, it can be used on humidifier chambers, nebulizer kits and tubing, toothbrushes, oral appliances, hearing aids, toys, pacifiers and more. The overall unit measures:12.25" L x 8.5" W x 7.75" H and the tray is: 9 1/2" L X 6 1/2" W x 4"H.

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY? The manufacturer warranties the Lumin for 24 months from the date of purchase.
