PARI Expiratory Filter/Valve Set

Worked the way I needed it to. A bit pricey.

My family member uses a nebulizer for 4-8 treatments per day. The vapor for one of the meds, Muco-Mist, is very heavy, smelly, sticky. With this filtering system we no longer have the thick sticky vapor floating around in the room collecting on the surfaces of the furniture and leaving a very strong, sulfurous odor in the house. My main complaint about the filtering nebulizer is that the single-use filters are a little costly at about $1.50 to $1.95 each. Because of this we only use the filtering nebulizer for the Muco-Mist treatments and use a standard nebulizer set for the other treatments. Please keep in mind you may need a heavier duty nebulizer to push the treatments when using a filter because of back pressure. Our little medium-duty nebulizer quit after one month of using the filtered nebulizer set, but I can't blame the filtered set because it works as it is supposed to.
