Unmatched in quality, value, and performance, the DeVilbiss Pulmo-Aide Nebulizer System has provided users like you with effective aerosol treatments for more than 30 years. The compressor's unique 4-pole motor design and the metal framed motor construction greatly extend the life of the unit to an average length of 10 years (the longest of any compressor) . A top-down opening storage compartment gives you the option to conveniently store all your nebulizer's accessories (nebulizer cup, mouthpiece, and tubing) in one spot when not in use. This storage compartment, plus the compressor nebulizer system's narrow frame makes it easy to neatly put away. Also, the carrying handle built onto the back of the compressor makes it easy to take the whole unit with you wherever you're headed. This Pulmo-Aide compressor model 5650 is the only approved compressor for use with TOBI (tobramycin solution for inhalation) when used with the PARI LC Plus nebulizer (not included).
You must regularly replace this unit's air filter (we have a pack of 25 filters and a pack of 5 filters to choose from), so consider adding a pack to your order to ensure your compressor will run smoothly for months!
What's in the box: compressor, Micro-Mist disposable nebulizer (6 ml capacity), and 7' of tubing.

5 stars, THE BEST Nebulizer
By T.C. from Orlando, Fl. on 2013-04-11
Pros: Oustanding Quality, Perfect performance, Longevity of product, Trusted, Great construction
I have used this model of Nebulizer for about 27 years. In all those years, I have only needed to replace the unit ONCE. The lifespan of this product is incredible, especially since it works so hard in my home, it never lets me down or weakens in performance. This nebulizer does not ever sit idle in my home, I use it every day, every night and several times in between. It is not loud at all, some compressors are very loud and very annoying...this is NOT the case with this one and yet the compressor is still so very powerful. The drop down front opening with storage compartment is SO convenient and so very vital not just for storage of breathing unit when not in use but to have somewhere to sit your mouthpiece when not in use...if I don't use a full treatment, I don't have to dump out the rest of the liquid medication and waste it...I just sit my mouthpice on the hosing input and the rest sits inside the storage area, protected from dust and such. Traveling? You will especially appreciate the storage compartment, so convenient and a must have for a Nebulizer in my opinion. I really couldn't do without that storage space, and yet the unit does not take up a lot of room at all. is not huge and/or bulky but very trim and lightweight. It's just perfect and I love it and I can't recommend this Nebulizer any more highly, it is and has been the absolute best on the market for so many years...if it is ever discontinued or not available in the future years I will be one heartbroken asthmatic. HANDS DOWN...BEST NEBULIZER ON THE MARKET!

5 stars, Really quiet!
By Mom of Jon from Sun City West, AZ on 2013-04-04
Pros: Quiet, Storage compartment, Ease of operation
This nebulizer is used by my son, who is on a ventilator. In the past we have purchase nebulizers for $50-60 and find that they become loud after a few weeks use. The pressure for atomizing the medications also becomes weaker over time. This nebulizer is sooooo quiet and atomizes the medications very quickly. We've used it for about 3 weeks now and so far, we are absolutely thrilled with it. It was definitely worth the extra money.

5 stars, 20 YEARS LATER !!
By D from VA on 2013-03-13
I purchased this machine 20 years ago and it still works as good as new. The only service that has been needed is the filter, of course. It is very easy to use and clean. It still looks new. I like the storage compartment that has enough room for the tubing, mouthpiece and inhalation solutions. If I ever need to purchase another nebulizer, it will definitely be this Pulmo-Aide Nebulizer Systems by DeVilbiss

Questions on Pulmo-Aide Nebulizer System
-
- I have a couple of questions, 1. Im looking for a small traveling nebulizer with the Specifications of the model 5650D Devilbliss. 2 we have a Model 5650D now and was wonerding if we need a Prescription for another one? Thank You.
- 1. A good smaller nebulizer for someone looking for a travel compressor nebulizer is the PARI Trek S. It has no medication restrictions and works the same way as the Pulmo-Aide Nebulizer. The PARI Trek S comes complete with an AC adapter, DC adapter, carrying case and two reusable nebulizer sets. You can purchase it with or without a rechargable battery.
2. If you purchased the nebulizer from us, we still have your prescription on file and we do not need an additional prescription. If you have not purchased a nebulizer from our company, we would need a prescription for our file. You can call your physician and ask that one be faxed to us. At checkout, you will be prompted to check a box saying you will send us a prescription. - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No
-
- Is your reusable nebulizer suitable for using a 50/50 DMSO/water solution?
- You should ask your doctor or pharmacist about specific medication questions as we are only qualified to give information regarding the equipment specification, not medication or treatment information.
