This Pacifier Inhaler Kit for all standard compressor nebulizer systems is specially designed to make aerosol treatments easy for infants and toddlers. This product works similarly to traditional mouthpiece nebulizers: your child inhales the medication mist through his/her nose while using the calming pacifier. This is a reusable nebulizer, but the pacifier attachment can only be disinfected in a vinegar/water solution. Must be replaced every 6 months.

  • Can the mabis baby pacifier inhaler parts be boiled to disinfect them rather than using vinegar?

  • All accessories of Mabis nebulizers should not be boiled and are not dishwasher safe. The only way to disinfect Mabis nebulizer accessories is to submerge all parts in vinegar/distilled water solution for 30 minutes. Rinse with water and let air dry. The nebulizer set should be replaced every 6 months.

To clean: Disconnect nebulizer kit from compressor. Wash all nebulizer kit parts in warm water and a mild detergent. Nebulizer set is dishwasher safe but accessories are not. To disinfect, submerge all nebulizer kit parts in vinegar/distilled water solution for 30 minutes. Rinse and let air dry. Nebulizer set should be replaced every 6 months.
