Get treatments in the palm of your hands with a handy handheld nebulizer! These compact nebulizers are perfect for busy and active people, as well as those who need treatments while on the road or during travel. Since these devices don’t take up much room, you can easily pack them into a purse or bag and you’re set. Plus, most of the handheld nebulizers we carry are ultrasonic nebulizers, which mean quick and quiet treatments for better breathing!
Here are some things to consider when choosing a handheld nebulizer:
Some nebulizer compressors are not recommended or compatible with specific medications. Ultrasonic nebulizers are not intended for use with the Pulmicort medication.
Consult your doctor, manufacturer or Just Nebulizers to make sure your medication works with the compressor you want.
Handheld nebulizers are very lightweight and easy to hold since they fit your hand. The size of the nebulizer makes it easy for transport.
Handheld nebs are perfect for travel because they’re compact and easy to pack. Many of our customers choose the Omron MicroAir or Pari Trek S when traveling.
Treatment times depend on the type of compressor, medication and neb kit used. The Pari Trek S has an average treatment time of only 5 minutes when used with the LC Sprint nebulizer kit!
Ultrasonic nebulizers are the quietest type of nebulizers. The top three handheld nebulizers we carry that make the least noise include the Omron Micro-Air, Mabis NebPak and Pari Trek S.
Handheld nebulizers are powered by regular batteries, rechargeable batteries and/or wall outlets. The Omron MicroAir works great during power outages and for those who live in hurricane-prone areas. The wide variety of power options gives you the flexibility you need in a handheld portable nebulizer.
Each nebulizer system comes with its own carrying case or pouch to ensure that all parts are safely contained in one place for hassle-free transport.
Other accessories you may need include a mask, tubing, and batteries.
We carry a large selection of ultrasonic nebulizers to accommodate all persons with respiratory conditions. If you still need help choosing an ultrasonic nebulizer, please call us at 1-888-550-2450 Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
If you’re constantly on the go, consider using a handheld nebulizer. As the name suggests, a handheld nebulizer conveniently fits in your hand, making it completely portable for travel. These lightweight, compact nebulizers can easily and conveniently fit inside your child’s backpack, or your purse or bag – always available for use whenever you need it. If you’re looking for a small handheld nebulizer, we recommend the Omron MicroAir Nebulizer, the smallest and lightest (weighs only 6 oz. with batteries!) nebulizer available. This portable nebulizer comes with its own protective case, so you can carry it with you wherever you go. Read More
Many of the handheld nebulizers listed above, like the MABIS NebPak and the Lumiscope, are ultrasonic nebulizers. An ultrasonic nebulizer is very lightweight and virtually silent. Additionally, many handheld nebulizers, like the bestseller PARI TREK S, feature an optional rechargeable battery for more flexibility.
