This ultrasonic nebulizer is a perfect fit for students getting ready to go back to school. This unit features a cool camouflage carrying case that your child will want to take to school. Fitting within your hand and weighing less than 8 ounces, this is the smallest unit from MABIS DMI. As an ultrasonic nebulizer, the treatments are essentially silent, letting you or your child take a treatment without the distracting noise associated with compressor nebulizer systems. Unlike other ultrasonic nebulizers, this device features a closed water chamber that requires you to regularly add distilled water for operation.
This unit features three adjustable flow speeds, with most treatments taking less than 6 minutes to finish. In case you or your child accidentally leaves the unit running, the automatic shutoff feature will conserve battery after 10 minutes of non-use. The MABIS NebPack comes with a nasal piece, mouthpiece, and masks for both a child and adult – letting you choose the most comfortable way to administer a treatment!
To keep this product running at optimum performance, you must regularly replace its air filter – so consider adding a pack of 10 to your order to keep this product running smoothly for months!
What's in the box: ultrasonic nebulizer, medication cups (7.5 ml capacity), mouthpiece, extension tube, connector, nasal piece, adult mask, child mask, nebulizer stand, rechargeable battery, home and car powering adapters, and a camouflage backpack carrying case.

1 stars, Mabis Neb Pak Ultrsonic Nebulizer
By Sheila from Iowa on 2013-05-06
Pros: There isn't any
Cons: Not Impressed
I was not impressed with this product. I bought it so my daughter can take it with her when she goes over to friends houses. If I would have known that you had to add distilled water I wouldn't have bought it. You can never tell if it is charged. Not unless I read the instruction wrong as to when this is charged. I was not happy with it.

By Mom on the run from Miami, FL on 2013-04-24
Pros: Quiet, Fast, Silent
Best Uses: in home, On the go
This neb is great. I have two kids that use it often. They were terrified of the traditional loud nebulizers and this one is completely silent. It brings all the necessary attachments so you don't have to worry about having to purchase additional items. I've had it for over 2 years and it works like the first day.

4 stars, It is a perfect addition for travel
By adri's mom from Syracuse, ny on 2012-08-29
Pros: Good for travel
Cons: Battery pack doesnt last
Best Uses: Travel, Picnics, Fairs, Beach
I purchased the nebulizer to take on vacation. It is great addition to all the machines that my daughter needs. The only thing I didn't like was the batery pack only last 2 times before it needs to be charged. I am happy that all the cords came with it and also the backback has all the room.

3 stars, MABIS
By Elsie2281 from Atco, NJ on 2012-05-09
Pros: Quick treatment time
Cons: Before having to charge, You need water for it, You only get 2-3 uses
My old portable nebulizer had recently broke so I needed to replace it because I have severe asthma and needed something on the go. There are a few things I did not get in the description like the fact you needed water and that you have to recharge the battery after about 2 uses. So it isn't good if you are having a flare up and have no source of electricity. Other then that the product works great it is quick and easy to use.

1 stars, do not choose!
By me from mo on 2012-03-05
This nebulizer could be good for a child in school. The inly problem with that scenario is you are only able to get one maybe two treatments. If using a combo therapy of solutions i.e. albuterol mixed with budesonide or albuterol with iptatropium you will only get one full treatment before a charge is required. The neulizer does not work while charging. It is louder and heavier than similar nebulizers from other manufacturers. On a more positive note it does produce a very fine mist. However I noticed that mist is inconsistent and comes and goes. I decided to go back to the intoned microair a pay the difference for a more lightweight and completely silent nebulizer. YOU PAY THE SHIPPING TO RETURN AN UNWANTED PRODUCT BE SURE ABOUT WHICH YOU CHOOSE!
