The CompAir Elite Nebulizer System is small, lightweight and portable, which gives you the ability to effectively manage and treat your condition anywhere, anytime. It is powered by an efficient and reliable piston-pump compressor.

This product can also be powered using a rechargeable battery. The rechargeable battery can run the compressor nebulizer system for roughly 35 minutes before needing a new charge. Each battery has about 300 charges in its lifespan! The 5 year warranty does not cover the battery.

This compressor nebulizer set features easy to grip air plugs on both ends of the tubing. Other types of tubing can be slippery and hard to fasten to the compressor. Not with this tubing! The easily gripped ends allow you to attach both tails of the tubing to the necessary spots, hassle free.

Like all tabletop compressors, this Omron product requires that you regularly replace the air filter – so add a pack of 5 filters specifically designed for this compressor to your order to ensure your unit will run at peak performance for months!

What's in the box: compressor, reusable nebulizer kit (7 ml capacity), child mask, 7' of tubing, 5 replacement filters, optional rechargeable NiMH battery, a carrying case, and a multi-lingual instruction manual and training DVD.

  Doesn't work as advertised. Omron states it will nebulize at the rate of .35 ml per minute. In fact it will only nebulize about 2 to 2.5 ml in 20 minutes which is the maximum time you can use the machine than you have to wait 40 minutes to use again. It took me almost 3 hours to nebulize my 5.5 ml of medication.

  Pros: Easy to use, Small Size, Portable

  • Is the NE-C30 the type of nebulizer that can be used on battery only. Also can it be used with Pulmicort? How long is the battery time. I have three different medications, Pulmicort, Albuterol and Ipratropium Bromide, if I were away from home would the batteries last for all three treatments and how long would it take to recharge the batteries?
  • The NE-C30 nebulizer can be used with the rechargable battery or while plugged into an outlet. This is a compressor nebulizer with no medication restrictions. The battery is a NiMH and it lasts approximately 35 minutes per charge. The battery should last approximately 300 charges before it needs replaced. The battery takes between 14 and 16 hours to charge.

  • The medication is put into the medication cup, which is part of the nebulizer set. when looking at the photo, the medication cup is under the mouthpiece, but above the tubing.

  • You will need to have a plug converter in order to plug this in in Europe. While the power will convert to the correct voltage, you will need to have the proper plug converter so it fits into the actual outlet. You can find those in most stores with travel equipment such as Brookstone or Radio Shack.

  • This nebulizer can convert the power voltage from 110-240V. While you do not need to convert the voltage, different countries have differently shaped plugs, so in order to fit the plug into the outlet, you may need a plug adapter, depending on the country and their outlet configuration.

  • What is the sound level of this machine? Less than 53dBA? How about pressure? Less or more than 35?
  • The Omron Comp Air Elite NE-C30 has approximately a 55 dBA sound level. The compressor pressure range is 30-36 psi but the operating pressure is 8 to 16 psi. Today, the operating pressure is not nearly as important in the overall effectiveness and speed of treatment as a well maintained, reusable nebulizer set. For the fastest treatments, use a breath enhanced nebulizer set such as the PARI LC Sprint.

  • This is a rechargeable battery that contains alkaline liquid. This battery cannot be bought in stores and only the Omron C-30 battery is compatible with this unit.
